General Information
The
Annual International Conference of RSBBM will take place this year at the
Department of Biochemistry - Institute
of Life Sciences from University of Agricultural
Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca,
str. Manastur 3-5, 400372 Cluj-Napoca,
between September 30th - October 3rd.
In parallel, the FEBS Education Committee will
organize the “Education in Biochemistry Workshop”, at the same location.

Programme
The
scientific programme will include plenary lectures, oral communications and
poster presentations. The meeting will be focused on different areas related to
biochemistry and molecular biology, including advanced bio-techniques and
applications in medicine, nano-and biotechnology. The program of “Education in
Biochemistry Workshop” organized by FEBS will include lectures given by FEBS
experts in Biochemistry, followed by interactive discussions.

Call for papers and deadlines
May 15, 2008 – submission
of abstracts, containing a summary of the experimental work and the results. To
mention if the presentation is intended to be poster or oral. A limited number
of oral presentations will be selected by the scientific committee.
June 15, 2009 – electronic
confirmation (by e-mail) of abstract acceptance
Publication
All invited lectures, oral presentations
and posters will be published as abstracts. Full articles may be published
after the symposium, according to the journal submission rules.
